Trybe UK's Brand Identity

TRYBE UK is a modern parenting and family-support platform built around connection, organisation and community. The identity reflects a supportive and inclusive environment where families can access resources, share experiences, and manage everyday life more easily.
The visual direction balances clarity with warmth. A clean logotype, approachable typography and soft but confident colours create a brand that feels welcoming, trustworthy and modern. The design aims to remove friction for parents while maintaining a friendly and human tone.
At the centre of the brand is the idea of a “Trybe”, a close-knit network of family, carers, and community members who support one another. The identity reinforces this idea through a simple, accessible design that reflects openness, authenticity and connection.
Minimal in structure but expressive in personality, the TRYBE UK identity is designed to feel supportive rather than corporate, reflecting the realities of modern parenting and the importance of community.

Introducing Trybe UKs Website UX/UI and Mobile App.
Why this case study?
TRYBE UK is a platform designed to support parents and carers by connecting them with resources, community initiatives and opportunities. The goal of the project was to create a digital experience that made it easier for users to access support, information and community clearly and intuitively.
Using Figma, I helped design the app’s UX and interface layouts, focusing on navigation, hierarchy and clarity. The aim was to ensure parents could quickly find the information they needed without feeling overwhelmed. I structured the user journey so key areas such as support resources, community initiatives and opportunities were easy to access. The visual direction remained aligned with the TRYBE UK brand while keeping the interface clean, approachable and functional. Particular attention was given to readability, layout structure and simplifying the user flow so the experience felt supportive rather than complicated.
Through this process, I focused on balancing visual design with usability, ensuring the platform not only looked engaging but also worked effectively for the people using it. The result was a cohesive digital platform that strengthens how TRYBE UK communicates its purpose while improving the overall user experience for parents and carers seeking support.
Problem statement
Parents and carers often struggle to find reliable support, resources and community in one place. Information is usually scattered across different platforms, making it difficult to access guidance, opportunities and trusted advice quickly.
TRYBE UK aimed to solve this by creating a digital platform that brings together parenting support, community initiatives and helpful resources in one accessible space. The challenge was designing an experience that felt clear, supportive and easy to navigate, while reflecting the brand’s mission of empowering families and building stronger communities.

Competitive Analysis
-
Research showed that many parenting platforms provide advice, forums or parenting resources, but they are often fragmented across different websites and apps.
-
Large parenting communities tend to focus heavily on articles and discussion forums rather than creating a structured, easy-to-navigate support ecosystem.
-
Many platforms also lack a strong focus on community-led initiatives and real-world opportunities for parents to connect and support each other.
-
TRYBE UK differentiates itself by bringing together resources, community support and opportunities within one platform, creating a more holistic experience for parents and carers.
-
The platform focuses on accessibility and clarity, ensuring users can quickly find relevant information without navigating multiple disconnected sources.
-
By combining parenting resources with community initiatives and opportunities, TRYBE UK creates a more meaningful digital environment for families seeking guidance, connection and support.

Results
Designing TRYBE UK focused on creating a clean and intuitive interface that helps parents organise daily life, access resources and connect with their community more easily. While development was carried out using Adalo, which introduced some limitations around certain custom features and flexibility, the design prioritised clarity, simplicity and a smooth user experience.
Despite these constraints, the platform successfully delivered a user-friendly environment where parents could manage events, tasks and family coordination in one place. Feedback from early users highlighted how the platform improved organisation and communication within families.
One parent shared:
"Planning events is a breeze with Trybe! I can create an event, share it with our Trybe, and everyone gets notified instantly. It’s helped me organise family gatherings, school projects, and even playdates with ease."
The project also received recognition beyond user feedback, with TRYBE UK securing £15,000 in funding through the Barclays Accelerator programme, further validating the concept and supporting the platform’s continued development.
Overall, the project demonstrated how thoughtful UX design and a clear interface can simplify everyday parenting challenges while strengthening community engagement.
